To say Matt & Kim’s NYC New Year’s show was AWESOME, would be an understatement. The energy in the room was on full blast with streamers, balloons and confetti flying, music blaring and the crowd dancing their pants off. Which is why I’m ecstatic that Matt & Kim put together this video from the show. The band shares the excitement of this night with everyone that couldn’t make it, and for those that did to reminisce - Enjoy!
The band will be taking a short touring break to record their next record.. read more about it on Kim’s blog entry here
‘stache on site: Matt & Kim at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC was the place to be on New Years!
There were monster glowsticks, confetti guns, streamers, balloons, the whole 9 yards! The band played their longest set ever - which included tracks from Sidewalks and Grand. The band had a stage in the front of the venue and surprised everyone by popping up on another stage in the back of the venue! Great way to bring in the New Year! - Alex

Kayla’s Corner: Matt & Kim’s Tour
So, I recently had the opportunity to go to a Matt & Kim concert in NYC at Terminal 5 on June 29th and let me just say…they are the most energetic, funnest people to watch perform live. I enjoyed every freaking second of that show! Kim is just so funny and a ball of energy, especially when she did her little crowd-surfing thing!! Matt is so sweet, I had gotten the opportunity to meet him after the show and he appreciates his fans so much. The entire audience was able to interact with Matt & Kim because they made it feel like you were part of the show as well. It was one of the best concerts I had been to in a long time. If you haven’t seen them perform live yet or heard their new album Sidewalks, I highly suggest you make it a top priority!
